My blog greets you: “Hello world!”

Welcome to WordPress.com. This is your first post. Edit or delete it and start blogging!

Yes, I am leaving this in. For posterity. I need to look that word up. I bet I fling it around too carelessly. One of these days, it’s going to hit someone and make me pay.
google, go, define: posterity
result: Descendants or those who come after.
I will definately stop using that word. It reminds me of osteoperosis, and all future generations of offspring maintaining a fragile bone state as well.

Well, I suppose that this blog only let’s you post one entry per day. But I have already written two entries. What a bummer. I would kind of like to see them separated in a nice, organized way. Jessica says that this site looks “sterile”. I think that it looks like a big, white countertop.
WordPress is hilarious. I approve. The blog automatically enters a first entry for whomever signs up, and it is entitled “Hello, World”. That cracks me up, because it’s like they are taking away the “scary first entry” dilemma that ALMOST plaugued me, until I found out that I didn’t have to worry about “what to say”. WordPress will say it for me! No wait, that would be bad. Did I just sign up for a blog that will blog itself?
So now it is time to explain why I got a blog. Well everyone else has one too! That’s it. Pure jealousy. I am left out of all blog conversations. OK, this isn’t entirely true. I, and 3 other friends, all share a blog account which we have held since summer of 2001. We can thank Kate for jumping on the blog-wagon, and linking us four friends together….forever….in cyber time. The point of the blog was to keep in contact with a friend who lives a few hours away, and since then, one other girl in our group has moved away as well. The result: a bonanza of stories, random events, thoughts, gatherings, invites, relationship drama, and pictures all smashed together, liquified, gelled, and then compacted into one fruit roll-up. Well now I want my own fruit roll-up, because I can’t share that one with others. It’s a privately owned beach.
I want to practimize my writing skills and post travel accounts on this blog as well. Kate and I are skit-skatting over to Scotland in September. Now that I am graduating, the first thing people ask is what I am going to do, and if I feel like talking about it, I’ll say “Move to Scotland.” Just like that. If I don’t feel like talking about it, I say “Get a job (in Scotland…..)”.
Good news: there is a Scottish Juggling Convention held in Glasgow in early February! After the work abroad program is over, I plan on traveling to different areas based on where juggling festivals are located. So far they seem to be concentrated in Britain and Germany, but what I really want to see is Eastern Europe (Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, etc). I’ve based this decision on several pictar shows given by friends who went abroad. Out of all the European countries, I enjoyed the pictures from Eastern Europe the most.
So yes. I have a sketchy plan, a sketchy decision making process, and most of all, a sketchy blog.

Congratulations on your new blog, Im glad you took my advice and went with WordPress, I hope you enjoy it. Also, you can post as many posts as you want per day, they are identified by title, not date. Just login and click “New Post”
P.s. Puzzling, juggling, and smuggling is a cool name, but brianne_smells would have been more you.

The people who asked me what I was going to do after graduation were the people I would have least liked to have that discussion with. Usually they bestowed all sorts of useless advice like “now you have to be more responsible”. Yuck!
You are going to have so much fun in Scotland. I’m jealous!
P.S. I linked your site to mine.
