Here are the things I’ve learned in Scotland so far:

How to walk in the rain without an umbrella.

Sunshine is ephemeral, but plentiful.

Absinthe isn’t really hallucenogenic.

There are no secrets in a hostel.

Wait for the green man before you cross the street.

Music on the radio doesn’t get any better .

It’s always a good idea to talk to strangers.

There are wonderful people wherever you go.
